Compare all the stocks in the database

This feature enables you to get the most comprehensive ranking of all the stocks (over 7000) in the database.
Also, the number of stocks that match the user's screening parameters is unlimited. For guest users, no results will be displayed if the result screen contains over 3000 stocks.

Rank displayed

Rank within the 7000+ stock database is displayed in addition to Score in all comparison results.

Unlimited output

Subscribers can choose between displaying 50, 200 stocks on each results page, and then page forward and back using paging buttons.
Non-subscribers are limited to 50 stocks in the results page, and cannot page forward.

Unlimited use

Non-subscribers are limited to about 10 screening requests per session, or per day, depending on the load on the website. As a subscriber, you can use the website without any limitations.

Link from company details to industry screen

When viewing the company details page, link to a screen of all the stocks in the same specific industry.

Short commentary

A short commentary for some stocks is available to subscribers.
This data is displayed when hovering over the ticker symbol in the Results page (for stocks with a bold serial number), and in the Company Details page.

Obtain a comparison of the 15 DJ Utilities index stocks, the 20 DJ Transportation index stocks, the 17 stocks in the Philadelphia Semiconductor index, the 400 stocks in the S&P Midcap 400 index, and the 100 stocks in the NYSE 100 International index.
The 'New & updated' group includes stocks that have been added to the database or that their new quarterly report has been added to the database today.
The 'New lows' screen includes stocks that their closing price is a 52-week low.
The 'Industry Top 2' is a special screen that displays the 2 top ranking stocks in each specific industry. See also "Sort feature" below.
'Oil price correlation' is the capability to sort stocks by the correlation between their price and crude oil price.
Selecting by 'Q end' enables comparing only stocks whose latest quarter ended during a specific month.
The 'Gold' screen includes only stocks that meet certain criteria. The criteria are displayed on the 'Details' page for these stocks. They are also marked on other pages by a gold background around the ticker symbol.
The 'name contains' option enables screening all stocks whose company name includes a certain character string, i.e coal, japan.

History / Backtesting

This feature displays the stock's rank and price for up to 11 dates. It enables you to observe changes in both stock-comparator's ranking of the stock and the actual price movement of the stock. This is particularly insightful when comparing the history of multiple stocks.

Sort feature

The Sort feature is available to subscribers only. It can produce a list of all the stocks in the database, sorted by a number of different criteria. This can also be done by modifying the comparison formula (except for market cap and crude oil price correlation), but is more time consuming and non-subscribers can display only the first 50 stocks.
The "Industry Best (2)" and "Market cap" sort cannot be obtained by non-subscribers by modifying the comparison formula.
Sort output can be displayed in 3 different forms (standard, reverse order and alternate display).

Saved stock list

As a subscriber, you can save a list of stocks that you enter, and later reload it for comparison.

Set symbol list from this page

This paging button returns you to the main page and sets the symbol list to the list of stocks on the results page.
This feature can be used to save the results of a screen and re-run it after modifying the comparison formula, or to save the results as the 'saved stock list'.

Direct link to the company's or mutual fund's main page on the EDGAR system, containing general information and links to ALL SEC electronic filings. (not available for some stock types, such as ETFs).
